Golden Milk

Turmeric has been found to reduce inflammation and support brain and joint health. Black pepper enhances the absorption and the anti-inflammatory effects of turmeric. Both ginger and black pepper for powerful anti-oxidants making this tea one to enjoy everyday.

Ingredients 

  • 2 C unsweetened coconut milk (or any milk alternative)

  • 1 T peeled, grated fresh ginger

  • 1 T peeled, grated fresh turmeric

  • 3-4 black peppercorns

  • Optional: cinnamon stick

Instructions 

Bring to a simmer and simmer covered for 10 minutes. Strain and sweeten to taste (if desired).
