Bike Maintenance 101

  • Marquette Food Co-op 502 West Washington Street Marquette, MI, 49855 United States (map)

Keep your bike in prime condition and save money by learning basic bike maintenance skills from a professional. Quick Stop Bike Shop will walk you through the ABCs of bike care, including drive train maintenance, brake care, and how to change a tire. You’ll learn key vocabulary and how to run a pre-ride checklist that will help diagnose possible issues.

Quick Stop will be demonstrating these steps on a bike during the class so you see the processes live and can ask questions throughout. While biking to class is encouraged, this class is demonstration only.

This event is free but donations will be accepted for Start the Cycle, a youth biking program that builds social and emotional skills in participants while connecting their families with community resources.
